Amazingly, my mother and her barbie pink frosted nail polish managed to elicit some of the first real smiles I ever saw on my little girl.

I know the photo is grainy and bad, but I had to turn off the flash to stop distracting her, and I wasn't yet familiar with manual settings on a digital camera.
