Next, a delightful group of women surprised me last week. At a regular club meeting, which I have been terrible about attending the last year I’ve been a member, I happened to be attending there was a motion to sponsor my MOD walk.
As I’ve mentioned, while my tiny preemies grow bigger and bigger and that dark time recedes into the past, it grows harder and harder for me to solicit money. Harder to hit up the same fabulous people who have sponsored our walks year after year. Harder to hit up new people, because surely there are more compelling stories out there than ours.
So, my thanks go out to a wonderful group of moms. Thank you for your support, for making me laugh, for making the adventure of motherhood more fun.
